PDX itself does not physically transfer any funds, whether cryptocurrency or fiat, from one person or place to another; it instructs third parties to do so on its behalf. The Customer Payor transfers cryptocurrency from his or her digital currency wallet (Any Wallet) to PDX’s account at Kraken Exchange; through Dwolla Bank, the bank in which PDX’s settlement account is held transfers USD fiat currency from PDX’s account at the settlement bank to the Merchant’s account at their specific Bank (a Bank-to-Bank Payment); Kraken Exchange converts the cryptocurrency received by PDX into fiat currency and then transfers such fiat currency to PDX’s operating account at Santander Bank (Kraken-to-Bank Payment); Santander Bank, transfers such fiat currency amount (minus any transaction fee owed to PDX) to PDX’s Dwolla Bank settlements account (Bank-to-Bank Payment).
